WELCOME, CROCKETT FAMILIES!
We’re glad you’re here.
yes, PTO is for you.
Crockett PTO isn’t a club you have to “get into”—we’re just parents and caregivers teaming up to support teachers & students and plan the stuff that makes Crockett elementary memorable.
Moms, Dads & caregivers belong here. (No, you don’t have to be “that kind of mom.”)
You don’t need unlimited free time—many roles are one shift, one project, one idea, or one event.
You don’t have to know anyone—we’ll match you to something that fits your vibe (organized, creative, techy, shy-but-helpful, into logistics, design, fundraising?) there’s something for you.
PTO meetings are usually the first Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. (hybrid: library + Zoom)
You don’t have to “do it all.”
Together, we raise funds, celebrate staff, support campus needs, and host events all year long—so teachers can teach and kids can have fun with family and friends. We love keeping our traditions going and we are open to new ideas that fit this year’s families.
You can support Crockett in tiny ways, big ways, or anywhere in between.
HERE’S HOW YOU CAN Get INvolved
Crockett PTO runs on parent volunteers who help in different-sized ways—from one two-hour shift to leading a whole committee for the year. Fundraisers and community partners fund all of our programs, field trips, appreciation, events, and traditions.
→ Stay Informed: Monthly meetings are on the first Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. (in the library and on Zoom). We put out a newsletter as well. This is how you learn what’s going on without signing up for anything yet.
→ Volunteer For a Shift: Many Crockett needs are one- or two-hour blocks you can grab when life allows. (Book Fair, appreciation setups, Camp Crockett night, musical) We often use SignUpGenius so you can see exactly what’s needed and choose what fits.
→ Serve On a Committee: Committees are small teams that focus on one part of our programming: Teacher Appreciation, Fundraising, Camp Crockett, Scholarships, Communications, Community Partnerships, Parent Engagement, 5th Grade Celebrations, etc.
→ Join the Board: When you’re ready to lead (or even before), join as a Board Officer, Committee Chair, Event Coordinator, or Grade-level or Program Lead. These roles keep our Crockett traditions from resting on one person.

Lead with us
Officer elections are held at the May PTO meeting. We expect at least two openings on the board this year.
Board officers: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary.
Committee Chairs / co-chairs: Teacher Appreciation, Fundraising, Scholarship, Camp Crockett (our longtime lead is graduating out with their 5th grader, so this is a great year to learn the playbook alongside an experienced chair).
